Christmas with the DenBleyker's

Hi everyone - sorry it has been two weeks since I last posted. BUSY and with the holidays. Still I have no excuse. Christmas was GREAT this year!! Especially having our 1st Christmas with Karlie!! She got a lot of great gifts (so did Connor!!!) For only being 4 months old she got 5 dolls for Christmas. I have to say it is nice to have pink and now dolls in our house. I can't believe she will be 4 months old on Saturday - the 3rd.
Connor had fun this Christmas. Now that he is 2 he is starting to understand everything and able to open his presents on his own now.
We were making a comment today on the way to church - how last week we were all snowed in and churches were cancelled - today it kinda felt like a fall day looking at the sky and seeing the grass again. LOVED yesturdays weather. We could have that all winter.
I know a lot of people are having this on the blog also - for a prayer request especially during this holiday season. For Joe and Meredith Geurink. Her mom died a week ago tomorrow - Monday. Their blog is on the right side of my blog to read the story about her loving mom.
Please give me some time but I will post some up to date pictures of the fam and the our christmas.

BEAUTIFUL WEDDING!!!!

Hi - to all!! Sorry it has been a while since we last left a message. Nothing much going on here at the DenBleyker Household. Last night John and I went to a BEAUTIFUL wedding in our church. David and Lisa (Ondersma) Kortman. Wednesday night I went and helped decorate the church for the wedding. Being that we got married in December they seen our pictures and used some of the decorations we had from our wedding. CONGRATULATIONS David and Lisa!! So, yeh otherwise nothing much new around here just spending time as a family and enjoying this time of year. I'm hoping to post some of the pictures we had done two weeks ago of the kids/family for Christmas. Keep checking in - hope to do it in the next day or two!!

Happy Anniversary!!

Wednesday was our 4th Wedding Anniversary. Happy Anniversary honey - Love you!! We didn't do much on Wednesday we did watch our wedding DVD as a family. He took off from work yesturday and today so we can all spend time as a family. Last night we went out on a date which we haven't done in a long time. Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma DenBleyker babysitting our kids - Thanks Dad and Mom!!! So we went and ate at Crazy Horse. LOVE that restaurant!! Then we went to Target and did some shopping and then went and walked West Shore Mall (or what is left of the mall.) Had a lot of fun just spending some alone time together.

Geared for Racing!!!

This morning I made John's day. Today at 8:00 a.m. was the BIG day to be in the 400 people to register to be on / in "Pinks - All Out" coming to Martin in July. So I was sitting at the computer already at 7:40 with my Nextel next to me watching the time and playing on the internet. Listening to Connor talk in bed waiting for me to come and get him. But - first thing was first getting to be one of the 400 people to have my wonderful husband race at this BIG event. And I did - I quick filled in the information I had to for John and I got his ticket already. Do I have a very EXCITED and HAPPY husband right now! Can't wait for racing season to begin. Not all our friends were able to make it and be in the 400 people. Acouple of them did. The rest will be our cheering crowd that weekend.
The rest of the day was just a normal Monday - laundry day and pick up around the house. One project I did get half done this afternoon and tonight was my Christmas Baking. Couple more things to make and I'm finished - yeh!!! Then the shopping has to start one of these days. Christmas will be here before we know it.
